WeCare was set up in January 2017 in Ewhurst to help people with memory problems and their carers. Whilst our volunteer helpers engage in activities with the members, their carers can sit together separately for chat and exchanges of information, where many friendships have been made.
We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, in the Glebe Centre, Ewhurst. The activities are many and various, such as games and table activities, Jenga, crossword puzzles and quizzes all dependant on the skills and interests of those present.
Cake and tea/coffee is also provided by our volunteers. Our meetings are an opportunity to relax and unwind in a restful atmosphere.
