The new Mole Valley Community Fund (MVCF) is looking for new members to join its panel board.
The aims of MVCF are to:
- Establish, manage and distribute a sustainable fund to support organisations and local projects that benefit local residents in Mole Valley
- Raise the awareness of and inspire philanthropic giving, raising donations from local residents and businesses,
- Make it easier for Mole Valley community and voluntary groups to access grant funding for local projects that address need, disadvantage and community participation across our district.
The MVCF Chair Alan Horden said, “We are particularly looking for people with experience in communications, marketing, and social media. The most important thing, however, is enthusiasm and energy to support those in need in our community.”
The Mole Valley Community Fund is part of the Community Foundation for Surrey which belongs to a national network of 47 Community Foundations, one of the fastest growing philanthropic movements in the UK. Founded in the heart of local communities, each Community Foundation is unique, identifying local needs and mobilising local resources.
