Looking for a brilliant family day out this weekend? The Surrey Hills Wood Fair is back for its 15th year on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September at Cranleigh Showground, in partnership with Shooting Star Children’s Hospice, and it’s packed with exciting experiences for all ages.

The central arena will be buzzing with entertainment all weekend – from the all new Dog & Duck Show to thrilling chainsaw carving, impressive Shire Horse log pulling, medieval re-enactments, lasso demonstrations and live music. Around the showground, you’ll find more than 30 traditional wood craft artisans demonstrating their skills, plus more than 100 stalls offering unique gifts, crafts and produce from across Surrey.

Visitors can try their hand at tree climbing, axe throwing, spoon carving, join in nature walks, relax with gong baths, and enjoy traditional horse and cart rides. With so much to discover, there’s plenty to keep both adults and children entertained all day.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £12.50 for concessions, with under-16s free. Dogs on leads are very welcome, and parking at the Showground is free.
