Repair Cafe Godalming is thrilled to announce the arrival of its 1000th item for repair, marking a significant milestone.

The Repair Café Godalming focuses on sustainability and community spirit. This achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of our volunteers and the unwavering support of Godalming and the wider community.

A Community Effort
Since its inception, Repair Café Godalming has been a hub for community involvement. Local residents have come together to share their skills, learn new ones, and contribute to a more sustainable future. The cafe has become a place where people not only fix their broken items but also build lasting connections and drink tea or coffee. And everything is free of charge.

Supporting Local Charities
In addition to promoting sustainability, Repair Café Godalming has received over £3,000 in the last two years in donations by grateful owners as well as some community groups. To date, £1,000 has been given to the local charity Skillway and further gifts will be made to other charities later this year. These contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of many and underscore the cafe’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Looking Ahead
As Repair Café Godalming celebrates this remarkable achievement, we look forward to continuing our work and expanding our reach. We invite everyone to join us in our mission to reduce waste, save money, and strengthen our community.
