It is a truly landmark year for Ewhurst School, and they are delighted to share some wonderful news about our growth and the celebrations ahead.
They are pleased to announce that from September, Ewhurst will officially begin its transition from an infant school to a full Primary School. They will eventually welcome children from Reception all the way through to Year 6, growing year-on-year to meet the needs of local families. This change ensures that the children can continue their educational journey in the heart of their own community, providing the stability and continuity they deserve.
This year also marks a momentous milestone: their 180th Anniversary. To celebrate nearly two centuries of learning in this village, they are holding a special event at the school on June 13th from 12 noon-3pm. They are looking forward to welcoming the whole Ewhurst community and extend a special warm invitation to all past pupils and staff to join them. It will be a wonderful opportunity to look back at their rich history while looking forward to the bright future of our popular village school.
The school continues to go from strength to strength. The classrooms are buzzing with energy as the children immerse themselves in a broad and vibrant curriculum. They are incredibly proud of how hard our pupils are working and the enthusiasm they bring to their learning every day.
