Alongside the classic cars, retro caravans and live music at this year’s Floral Fringe Fair in Loxwood Meadow, you’ll also discover a wonderful range of artisan makers, growers and producers. With more stalls than ever before, over 100, scattered through the meadow and woodland areas, and you’ll have plenty to treat yourself to on the day, as well as taking some gifts home with you too.
You’ll find fabulous jewelers, wood and leather workers, glass artists, textiles and weaving artists, ceramics, vintage clothing and collectables, as well as delicious jam and preserves, fudge, brownies, doughnuts, wine and more.
For 2024’s fair, we’re putting the focus back on vintage and bringing back the plant and garden vibe too, with local growers selling their plants and produce. And the plants aren’t the only green thing you’ll find at the fair either, keep an eye out for the roaming Green Man and his Queen, as well as our fun competition to make a green man/woman or gender neutral person to decorate our magical woodland. Wildlife interest has always been a passion for the FFF team and the woodland surroundings of Loxwood Meadow, between Billingshurst and Loxwood village, lend themselves perfectly to all things natural – the perfect spot to learn more about Forest Bathing and Bach flower remedies, just two examples of the wellness and alternative stalls who’ll be there to chat with you over the weekend.
We want you to bring your furry friends as well as well-behaved dogs are very welcome on leads. We even have a dog artist ready to capture your beloved pooch on canvas!
Although we’ve hired in some really good wi-fi, so our stall holders will be able to take card payment, please do bring some cash as well (there are no cash machines close by), as some of our very special, smallest businesses may not necessarily have a card reader and you wouldn’t want to miss out!
