Frensham Heights A Level Dance Discovery Workshop

Ready to explore the exciting world of A Level Dance? Come and join our vibrant Discovery Workshop! You’ll dive into practical dance sessions where you can get creative with choreography, shine through performance, and sharpen your critical thinking skills – all designed to give you a fantastic feel for what A Level Dance is all about.

This event is open to Year 10 and Year 11 students from local schools and from further afield who are interested in studying A Level Dance at Frensham Sixth Form. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore our Dance course, meet our inspiring teachers and experience the creative and supportive atmosphere that makes Frensham so special.

During the workshop, you’ll take part in a practical dance session, exploring technique, choreography and performance skills in our professional-standard studios. You’ll get a real sense of what it’s like to study Dance at A Level — combining creativity with physicality, and theory with expression.

You’ll also have the chance to gain insight into our teaching and learning approach, which values individuality, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you dream of a future in the performing arts or simply love to express yourself through movement, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to discover A Level Dance at Frensham and see what Sixth Form life is really like.

The timings of the afternoon will be:
4.30pm – 6.00pm – workshops
6.00pm – 6.30pm – performance and refreshments for parents
