Fernhurst Choral Society new season

We are a friendly mixed-voice choir with over 60 members. Our singers come from every corner of the three counties to rehearse from 8.00 to 9.45pm on Monday evenings in Fernhurst Village Hall in preparation for our three concerts each season. Our repertoire ranges from the big choral standards by composers like Handel, Mozart and Brahms; to more contemporary works. Our musical director is Tim Ravalde, assistant organist at Chichester Cathedral. Our accompanist is George Haynes, a member of the choir at the cathedral.

If you love to sing and are thinking of joining a choir, do come along to a rehearsal and give us a try with no obligation. There are no auditions—you just need to commit to some home practice, regular attendance at rehearsals, and the ability to sing in tune. Singers from all four voice parts will be made very welcome.

Our first Rehearsal of the 2025-2026 Season is Monday 8th September (at the earlier time of 7.30pm). If you can’t make this date, come along and join us on any subsequent Monday.
