Over more than fifty years on the English folk scene, Pete’s contributions have included traditional song research, song writing, the founding of several bands, solo and duo performances, dance calling, recording and local folk activism, Together with his wife, Sue, he received the Gold Badge Award from the English Folk Dance and Song Society for their outstanding contributions to folk dance, music or song.
