Blooming Picnic

Guildford in Bloom’s free Blooming Picnic is back and it’s bigger and better than ever.

Everyone is invited to an afternoon of live music, stalls and activities in the beautiful setting of Guildford Castle grounds on Saturday 6 June from noon until 4pm.

Bring a rug, bring a picnic, bring your family and friends, and sit back to enjoy acts such as the mighty Guildford Rock Choir, the talented members of Guildford Theatre School, and a range of songs from amazing vocalists Karl Sonos and Charlotte Hillman. There will also be activities for all the family, especially the children, and plenty of refreshments to purchase on the day. Stalls include gardening products, face painting and a Pimms tent to keep the adults happy. Guildford Bowls Club will be on their green and opening their clubhouse doors to join in the fun.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome on a lead and you can bring chairs – but please no tables or gazebos.

Blooming Picnic is organised by Guildford in Bloom, a charity that promotes great gardening and making Guildford greener through free competitions, activities and events. Our entertainment partners for Blooming Picnic are Experience Guildford and Guildford Fringe.
