Bosom Friends is a local support group of and for women who have experienced cancer first-hand. They provide a welcome and safe space for women to share their journey, exchange insights, and find comfort with those who truly understand. Our relaxed gatherings are the perfect opportunity to meet other women who have had a cancer diagnosis, to share stories, swap advice, and build friendships.
Cancer comes in many forms and every person’s experience is different: This is one of the main reasons why there is a growing body of evidence which shows a holistic approach to cancer treatment and post treatment recovery, delivers the best outcomes.
What is meant by holistic? Simply stated it is a focus on Mind, Body and Spirit and encompasses traditional medicines, emerging treatments, alternative therapies, healthy eating, reduced stress, meditation, exercise, time in nature and social engagement. This is where Bosom Friends comes in.

They have a Wellness Day with cake sale raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support on Friday 16th October from 10am-2pm at Cranleigh Village Hall. Come and celebrate the first anniversary of Bosom Friends with us , and meet other local community groups and businesses that are supporting wellness.
Breast Cancer Awareness month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, and learning more about early detection, prevention, and research. Most women diagnosed with breast cancer are over the age of 50, but younger women and men can also develop breast cancer. Breast cancer affects around 56,400 women and 390 men annually in the UK.
At Bosom friends they offer a listening ear because they know that wherever you are on your cancer journey sometimes, just having someone to talk to can make all the difference.

They meet every Friday from 9am–10.30am at Alpher Coffee at the Cranleigh Village Hall.
