During this long grey and very wet winter, a number of the congregation at Lavant Church, Stedham WI and numerous individuals in and around Midhurst have been furiously knitting baby bonnets and blankets for the neonatal and maternity wards at the Surrey and Chichester Hospital Trusts.
In all 369 pretty little bonnets in an assortment of colours and 11 beautiful blankets have been knitted so far and will be divided between the two Trusts.
