Castle Green Bowls Club – Open Day

Your local town centre bowls club needs new members.

Did you know that there is a well established bowls club just 200 metres from Guildford’s historic High Street?

Castle Green Bowling Club has been running for 103 years and is situated in the heart of Guildford Castle Grounds. The club is renowned for its friendly and hospitable atmosphere and you can learn to bowl for free with one of our Castle Green coaches from the end of April when we start outdoor bowling. There has been a bowling green at the Castle for hundreds of years but it is still in perfect condition.

Our Open Day is on Saturday May 2nd starting at 12 Noon. Just wear flat soled shoes and we will supply the rest. Club members will be on hand to show you how to bowl, and this can be followed up by coming to beginners sessions on Monday afternoons from 4pm.
