DESCRIPTION:The Orchard Dyke Lane\, Poynings\, Brighton\, BN45 7AA.\nWoodlands The Street\, Fulking\, Henfield\, BN5 9LT\nThur 11 June (11-5). Combined adm £7\, chd free. Pre-booking essential\, please visit www.ngs.org.uk for information & booking. Two hour timed slots at 11am\, 1pm & 3pm. Refreshments in aid of Downland Churches & Fulking Hall Appeal & NGS. Short drive between gardens. \nOccasionally garden openings have to be cancelled please always check on the NGS website before visiting a garden. \nThe Orchard is a relatively new garden\, planted in autumn 2023 following the completion of a new build on site. At the front\, there is soft prairie style planting\, while around the back you will find a rambling\, informal cottage garden with a cutting bed\, soft fruit\, vegetables\, and a small natural pond. East\, south\, and west facing garden with beautiful herbaceous perennials\, alliums\, shrubs\, roses\, and grasses set against lawn\, gravel\, and decking. The core beneficiaries include Carers Trust\, Macmillan Cancer Support\, Marie Curie\, Hospice UK\, Parkinson’s UK and The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing. \nThe National Garden Scheme doesn’t just open beautiful gardens for charity – they are passionate about the physical and mental health benefits of gardens too.
