Staying Steady is a friendly\, practical workshop where you can learn about the things that affect your balance and what you can do to support it.\nWe’ll talk about everyday changes that can make a difference\, including strength\, footwear\, hydration and simple ways to make your home safer. You’ll try six straightforward strength and balance exercises\, with options to suit different abilities and plenty of time to work at your own pace. There’s no fitness test\, and you don’t need to be fit already.\nWe’ll also look at what to do if you find yourself on the floor\, including when it’s safer to get help. You’ll take home a Get Up & Go booklet with useful reminders and ideas to practise.\nThe aim is to leave with practical information\, exercises you can use at home and a little more confidence to keep doing the things that matter to you.
