This is the week we have all been waiting for in Liphook: Liphook in Bloom celebrate 25 Blooming Years!
The flowers are blooming and the celebratory trail with interactive boards is set out around the village. There are two walks, a shorter one around the village, and a longer one which takes in Radford Park. The shorter walk is about 1.6 miles, quite flat and the guide follows dropped kerb locations for better wheelchair and pram access. The longer walk is 3.2 miles and includes some grass areas, a steep climb and crossing the Haslemere Road without dropped kerbs. Maps and directions can be downloaded from the Liphook in Bloom website www.liphookinbloom.co.uk. These walks can be done at any time, on any day. On Saturday there will be more celebrations at the Millennium Hall including a treasure trail for children aged 12 and under from10.30am. We have even created a new shrub bed in Station Road to commemorate the occasion.
