Trees & Forestry, Climate Impact and Implications for the Hurtwood

Director of Friends of the Hurtwood, AssocICF, BSc (Hons) & Local Forester
Alex is a local Forester who has spent over 9 years practising forestry nationwide. He now specialises in forestry for the sake of generating carbon credits to combat climate change. The talk will discuss how forestry works across the UK with special attention to the Hurtwood and the type of forestry we have here in the Surrey Hills.

Refreshments will be served – tea, coffee and wine. Plus nibbles and raffle prizes.
Tickets on the door – £ 3 for members of Friends of the Hurtwood, £ 5 for non-members
