It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors\, explore new places and meet other local people. At the end of your walk\, refreshments will be available from our visitor centre cafe. \nThese are leisurely\, scenic walks of approx. 1 – 2 hours that visit notable points within Winkworth Arboretum. The walks are generally level\, but there may be steps down and a corresponding climb back up the hill to the visitor centre. The walks are generally not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Elevation is 170ft descent and 167ft ascent. \nWalks will take place on roughly the first Monday and third Tuesday of each month with a maximum capacity of 15 walkers. \nDays and times may be subject to change\, so please always check the website first. \nPlease note that to maintain the comfort of both some people and some dogs\, we ask you not to bring your dogs along to these walks. \nThese are free walks. Admission into the arboretum applies.
