Surrey Gardens Trust – Exploring the Oxford Herbaria Collection

The Oxford University Herbaria is one of the oldest scientific collections in the world. This talk by Stephen Harris, Druce Curator, will introduce the Herbaria, explore its foundations and development over the last 400 years. The role of the Herbaria in modern plant sciences teaching and research will also be discussed. All talks held at Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall KT21 2BE. Talk at 2pm followed by tea, coffee and cake.
