Cherry Trees are proud to present two days of exceptional jazz and classical music at the stunning High Clandon Estate Vineyard. Join us for Jazz at Sunset on Friday 20th of May or Summer Classics in the Meadows on Saturday 21st of May.
High Clandon Estate Vineyard is a breath-taking private property and vineyard, situated at the heart of the rolling Surrey Hills. With views all over the area, including up to the London skyline, this is the perfect spot for watching the sunset. Stroll the wildflower meadows and discover award winning sculptures dotted around the vineyard.
Friday 20th May
Stroll the wildflower meadows from 2pm. Music begins at 2.30pm.
Led by Sophie Langdon, Violin Professor at the Royal Academy of Music, the Ardenti Ensemble is a musical collective of friends formed from the BBC and London Orchestras. We are delighted to present a celebration of the Baroque era. Sophistication, wit and filigree in a beautiful Surrey Hills setting at High Clandon Vineyard.
Saturday 21st May
Stroll the wildflower meadows from 5.30pm. Music begins at 6pm.
Join us in the vineyard and atmospheric Glass Barn for a performance by the Steve Waterman Quartet. Steve Waterman is one of the top British jazz trumpet players both at home and on the international scene. He began his career while studying at Trinity College Of Music, and since then has worked regularly on the British, European and International jazz scene. A regular at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Gareth Williams is one of the most intensely creative, dynamic and exciting performers on the UK scene. Joined by passionate double bass player, teacher and local jazz promoter, Marianne Windham and life-long drummer Dave Barry.
