Sam Sweeney Solo Concert and Fiddle Workshop

Best known as a veteran of the mighty folk band, Bellowhead, Sam Sweeney was described as “one of the defining fiddle players of his generation” by BBC Radio 2’s Mark Radcliffe. His solo performances are thoroughly captivating, particularly in the intimate, acoustic setting of Guildford’s historic St Mary’s Church. Sam will also be leading a workshop for fiddle players in the afternoon. Elye Cuthbertson, a talented melodeon player and winner of London’s Future Makers award in 2022 will be opening the concert.
