Organ recitals at Christ Church Coldharbour

A concert for Christ Church Patronal Festival. Philip Drew & David Hansell (organ duet) with Jenny Hansell (Soprano). Programme includes music by Purcell, Britten and J S Bach.
This concert will celebrate not only Christ Church and its organ but also St Cecilia (Patron Saint of Music – Feast Day 22nd November) and two of the finest English composers as Jenny Hansell sings music by Henry Purcell (died November 22nd) and Benjamin Britten (born November 22nd).
The first recital will be at 12.00 noon, preceded by refreshments at 11.45am. The second recital, following the same programme, will commence at 4.00pm, with refreshments at 3.30pm. Booking not required. The recitals of approximately one hour are free, there will be a retiring collection in aid of the organ fund.
