Grayshott Folk Club welcomes back: KATHRYN ROBERTS & SEAN LAKEMAN

In March we have returning musical guests. Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman visited us in September 2022 and charmed and enchanted our audience. Not only are they wonderful musicians, they are also delightful people.

Kathryn & Sean won the BBC Radio 2 “Best Duo” Folk Award, both in 2016 and 2013.

In 2025, Kathryn and Sean celebrated their 30th Anniversary as a musical partnership together by touring the UK.
Such was the success of that tour and the demand to see them play live, that the tour has been extended in to 2026 and we will be delighted to welcome them back to Grayshott Folk Club on Friday 6th March 2026.

2025/2026 sees them celebrate 30 years of their musical partnership with the release of their first live concert album.
Titled ‘Another Day At The Circus’, it perfectly encapsulates the intimate poignancy of an evening with a couple at the top of their game.

They first played/sang for us in September 2022 and charmed our audience with their wonderful voices, skilful playing and inventive song writing. Kathryn plays Keyboards and has a wonderful voice. Sean plays Guitar and sings backing vocals.
Together, they write beautiful and thought-provoking songs that cover a multitude of topics.
