Frensham Churches Eye-witness: Stories from Israel – Palestine

Frensham Churches warmly invite everyone on Thursday 27th March at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, The Street, Frensham GU10 3DT to hear The Very Reverend Nicholas Papadopulos, Dean of Salisbury Cathedral who spent three months in 2024 volunteering in occupied East Jerusalem which he describes as ‘an overwhelming experience’. He monitored human rights, visited holy sites, spoke with many people and many organizations, lived through the Muslim observance of Ramadan, and celebrated Holy Week and Easter in the city where Jesus died and rose again – all against the merciless backdrop of the war in Gaza.
