Dorking Museum VE Day 80th Anniversary Family Event

“We may allow ourselves a brief period of rejoicing…” (Winston Churchill declaring Victory in Europe, May 1945). Join Dorking Museum in celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE Day: Saturday 10th May, 10am-3.30pm. Another chance to see the popular Blackbrook Bomber display and find out what the people of Dorking lived through during WW2. Children are invited to dress up in our wartime costumes and make their own souvenir flags, bunting, poppies and medals to take home. All materials provided free (with generous support from the Arts Society Dorking).
