An Exquisite Harmony – Autumn Soirée

Haslemere Concerts invites you to enjoy a performance of ‘An Exquisite Harmony’ telling the story of the lives of Clara and Robert Schumann, performed by Christopher Kent, Sarah Selbourne and Gamal Khamis!

Christopher Kent has worked on screen, radio and stage from Shakespeare to contemporary roles and has most recently appeared as Bob Price in ‘Things I Know To Be True’ as OSO Barnes. His recital partnership with Gamal Khamis began in 2016 with ‘Never Such Innocence’ and they have since worked on many projects including ‘Odyssey – Words and Music of Finding Home’ in 2019 and ‘Enoch Arden’ by Strauss/Tennyson in 2020.

Gamal Khamis first performed at Wigmore Hall at the age of ten and has performed in countless venues since including Carnegie Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Sage Gatestead. Gamal is also a member of the award-winning Lipatti Piano Quartet and was appointed professor at the Royal College of Music in 2024.

Sarah Selbourne’s appearances on TV have included ‘Birds of a Feather’, ‘House of Elliot’ and ”Allo ‘Allo’. She has performed at Derby, Nottingham and Colchester and is known for narrating audiobooks and documentaries.
