Presenting A Portrait of Farnham, the new exhibition by Peter Gillespie, a Farnham-based artist known for his lively and expressive ink and watercolour depictions of buildings and streets.
Peter’s work captures the essence and vibrancy of the built environment, bringing out the character of each scene without the use of pencils or rulers – just freehand strokes of ink and splashes of watercolour. From intricate facades to the beauty of everyday lampposts and telephone wires, Peter’s signature style transforms familiar settings into much-loved artworks of Farnham.
Join us for a special Meet and Greet with Peter on Saturday, 8th March, from 11 am to 1 pm, where he will be sketching a new artwork live.
Additionally, bring the family along for a free half-term workshop on Tuesday, 18th February, from 11 am to 2 pm – no booking required, all are welcome to drop in and get creative!
