The Queen’s Reading Room Festival returns to Hampton Court Palace on Saturday 8th June, for an entire day dedicated to celebrating the best of the written word.

A literary festival like no other, The Queen’s Reading Room will gather a star-studded line of authors, actors and literary figures for a day jam packed with world-class live shows.

Visitors to this years festival can explore the stunning grounds of Hampton Court palace, wander the sumptuous gardens bursting with life in summer; listen to poetry read by some of the country’s finest actors including Helena Bonham Carter & Dame Harriet Walter, and enjoy shows from festival headlines such as Miriam Margolyes, Harlan Coben, Mick Herron, Kate Mosse, Lee Child, Sir Ian Rankin and many, many others.

The Queen’s Reading Room festival is a co-production between Historic Royal Palaces and The Queen’s Reading Room, the official literary charity set up by Her Majesty Queen Camilla – all proceeds go to furthering the work of these two charities.
