Terence Rattigan’s one act masterpieces Table Number Seven and The Browning Version are paired for the first time as Summer 1954 at Chichester Festival Theatre from 21st to 25th January, starring Nathaniel Parker (Inspector Lynley) and Dame Siân Phillips.
At The Beauregard Hotel, Bournemouth, the staff and guests seek quiet anonymity, but trying to hide from the change sweeping over the country is impossible. Meanwhile, in the Midlands, the end of the school term exposes the intrigues in the lives of its teachers, and triggers the collapse of a marriage. Nothing will ever be the same again.
