Steve Wickham picked up a fiddle at the age of four. He has hardly put it down since.

In his long and distinguished musical career, he has played with the greats; Bob Dylan, U2, Sinead O’Connor and many more besides, but Steve is best known for being the fiddle player with The Waterboys for forty years and more. He also co-wrote one of their best-known songs, which is called ‘Fisherman’s Blues’, and has been used in many television programmes.

Steve has been recording his third solo album, which he will be previewing at this gig with his friend Ray Coen when they revisit Grayshott Folk Club for a performance at Grayshott Village Hall on Friday 10th May at 7.30pm.
