Escape the winter blues and while away an evening on a colourful tropical island. This rarely performed Gilbert & Sullivan gem is set in the South Sea island of Utopia. The King has decided that Utopia should modernise and adopt English ways and customs, with hilarious and unforeseen results.
Fully staged with spectacular scenery and costumes, the humour is just as fresh and relevant today as when it was first performed in 1893. It features some of Sullivan’s finest music, played by a 24-piece professional orchestra.
It runs from 27th-28th February at Leatherhead Theatre.
