Vantage Publishing Limited, the Godalming-based publisher of VantagePoint magazines, has bought Winchester Resident Magazine, the Royal Mail delivered local community magazine for Winchester, from Hanson Media Limited.
Vantage Publishing was formed in January 2009 when it published its first local community magazine in West Surrey. Since then, it has grown to publish five monthly VantagePoint magazines serve the communities of Cranleigh, Dorking, Farnham, Godalming, Guildford, Haslemere, Leatherhead, Midhurst and Petworth, along with their villages, and all magazines are hand delivered by the Royal Mail to more than 125,000 local homes.
Stefan Reynolds, its founder said: “We are delighted to have acquired Winchester Resident Magazine from our friend Guy Hanson. Like us, he has created a magazine that champions local businesses, charities and the community and is a well-loved publication in the area it serves, with localised editorial and event information”.

Winchester Resident Magazine will continue to be edited by its current editor Sue Hughes, designed by All Points Media and printed by Green House Graphics, and it will always remain Royal Mail delivered.

Guy will remain and work with Marcus and Stefan as a Consultant for the production of the next two editions of Winchester Resident Magazine.
