If it’s your first year joining us at the fabulously eclectic Floral Fringe Fair, here’s a taste of what you’ll have to look forward to on the entertainment front. There’ll be a wonderful selection of live music and dancing over the two days of the Fair for you to boogie along to, as well as our classic car and vehicle display to admire, including the quirky and retro caravans folks turn up with.

Our wonderful live music this year includes performances from Happy Days Big Band from the Storrington are, who play a list of big band classics, jazz and swing numbers from the likes of Herbie Hancock, Josef Zawinul and Bill Withers alongside well-known contemporary tunes from artists like Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars. Taylor Maid folk, jazz and blues band bring together a wide variety of music from the 1920s/30s /40s/50s and a few from other decades. With an array of instruments and vocals they put their passion into each song or tune, whether it be an upbeat swing number, a bluesy jazz tune or a foot-tapping fiddle jig,

Our incredible in-house singer Kerry Le Bern and Dave Funnell duo will also be performing again this year. Kerry is an accomplished jazz and vintage singer from West Sussex and accompanied by Dave Funnell on the Saxophone will be treating you to a wide repertoire which is both eclectic, quirky and fun. Combined with their stylish vintage look, the pair are compelling, with a sultry jazz style and some fantastic saxophone playing, they always create the perfect vibe to accompany your day out at the Fair.

No vintage fair would be complete without a bit of Morris dancing and we‘ll have two fantastic sides entertaining you: Mythago Morris, a masked dance side based in Sussex, who dance in the border morris style, and Steampunk Morris, a mixed men and women’s Border-style morris dance side with a faint whiff of burning coal and hot water about them. Very in keeping with the theme of the weekend!

If you need any more inspiration to get up and strut your stuff then make sure to catch the Bellyfunk and Badra dancers, plus Jive Boogie dancing demonstrations happening throughout the weekend!

Sticking to the vintage theme – Do you own a classic pre-1980 car, hot rod, vintage car, motorbike or interesting vehicle of any kind? We’d love you to bring it along and show it off, joining our special display of Rolls Royces and Jensens, pre-1980 Citroens and other custom cars and retro caravans. It really adds to the vintage atmosphere of the Fair and you’ll get to meet fellow classic car enthusiasts.
